Degussa: Degussa announced that
Jeffrey Hinkle has been named
technical and marketing director,
new colorants and applications for
the coatings and colorants business
unit. He is responsible for the marketing
and business development
efforts associated with identifying
and approaching new markets and
new applications with both existing
and newly developed colorants. This
includes the global coordination of
all colorant R&D efforts and global
management of new applications
marketing efforts. He has been with
the company for 14 years.
The company also announced that
Daniel Goldberg has been named
technical market manager for the
company’s advanced fillers and pigments
business unit. In this new
position, Mr. Goldberg is responsible
for Acematt matting agents and pigment
black coating applications in
the NAFTA region. Most recently he
served as market development specialist
at Union Carbide Corporation
